Minimalism from a Biblical Point of View —

Biblical Minimalism is "a complete, whole-person release of anything unlike Jesus, a letting go of everything that hinders us from following Him wholeheartedly and single-mindedly, and a relinquishing of all that brings us under bondage to this earthly, very temporary life." Cheryl E. Smith

The Book

About two years into our minimizing journey, I began to seek God's will as to the "why" of all He has asked us to do.  He made it clear to me that He wanted me to write a book that documents our journey and the many lessons He has taught us along the way.

Our book is now available to purchase on Amazon!

    1. I wish I could say it has, but life events have prevented me from working on it for quite some time. During that time, so much has changed in our lives, and the Lord showed me He wanted that included in the book and that the time was not right to publish it before because all of this would have been left out. Some of the most profound lessons have been learned during this additional time. God's timing is amazing, and His thoughts are so far above mine. I recently finished adding another chapter and am in the process of editing, then I hope to start exploring self-publishing. Thank you for your interest. I appreciate it!

  7. Just found the blog. Started following you on facebook because I found you through Joshua Becker. Wish I could read your book. It sounds like what my heart longs for - wrestling with the courage and obedience needed to truly live life like Jesus is calling me to live.

    1. Oh, bless your heart! What a sweet comment! Your words truly touched my heart. I am longing for the book to be published, but it seems each time I think I am done, God adds more to it. It is so hard to understand His plan sometimes, but it is all in His hands. I hope one day you will hold it in your hands and read it and find encouragement. I am so thankful for your support, and it is so wonderful to "meet" you! Many blessings to you!
