Minimalism from a Biblical Point of View —

Biblical Minimalism is "a complete, whole-person release of anything unlike Jesus, a letting go of everything that hinders us from following Him wholeheartedly and single-mindedly, and a relinquishing of all that brings us under bondage to this earthly, very temporary life." Cheryl E. Smith

The Cover & Blog Header

After I finished writing the book "Biblical Minimalism©", I began thinking about what the cover of the book should look like.  I sought the Lord for direction, and one night, I came across this image online.  I found that it had been used in several places, but I had a difficult time tracing back to find its origin.  After much prayer and research, I finally found the artist who took this amazing photo.

It wasn't long before we were texting one another, and then we enjoyed a blessed time of fellowship on the phone.  Her name is Helen Thomas Robson, and you can view her amazing work at her website, Captured Miracles.

When we talked, I told her how much her photo has come to mean to my family and me and how precisely it portrays the burden upon my heart concerning the whole theme of Biblical Minimalism©.  If and when the book gets published, I plan to use it, with Helen's permission, for the book cover.
